When I say new success mindset, I’m talking about the belief in your heart and mind that you can actually create a very profitable business. See, you cannot create a profitable business if you don’t believe it’s possible in the first place. So you need to have the belief in your heart and mind that you, the owner, can actually create a very profitable business.

 Success Pillar #1

You must follow a success blueprint plan for your daily actions in your business. Without taking the daily steps to reach your goals you will never reach the weekly goals and you’ll never get your monthly goals, you’ll never get your quarterly goals, you’ll never get your annual goals. So the action plan, success blueprint plan for your daily actions is the first success pillar.

Success Pillar #2

The second success pillar is constantly increasing your knowledge and skills to bring new life and ideas to your business. See, there are all these different ideas that your competitors are doing, things that you can do differently, things that your customers are telling you to do, additional certifications, additional things that you can learn and skills that you can learn and have your employees and your staff members learn to bring new life to your business. That is an essential part in your new success.

Success Pillar #3

Success pillar number three is consistently implementing those proven strategies for your daily action plan and from your new knowledge and skills and implementing that into your business and making it work to generate new dollars and profits in your business. So those are the three pillars of your new success mindset.

Let’s talk about what we know already doesn’t work. We know that hoping without taking action doesn’t work. Not doing any marketing at all definitely doesn’t work. Sadly, I still see businesses that refuse to do marketing, which is a terrible thing. Also, simply complaining about the economy has never changed anything. One of the worst things you can do is to not have a proven process for getting leads and turning them into customers. Getting leads is the lifeblood of your business. So, those are the things we know don’t work, but you have to be willing to admit that these things that you’ve been doing are not working.

New Beginnings

It’s about new marketing strategies. It’s about a new overall business focus. It’s about a new direction for your business, new energy from your existing staff, new outlook on your marketplace, it’s about new staff if needed, it’s all of these new things that will allow your business to weather this economic downturn and even thrive and be more successful than ever in this economic downturn. This is about building new business habits; habits like learning from your competitors success and values. Many business owners that I know of never take time to properly study what their competitors are doing. It’s a very essential and important part for you to know what’s going on in your market place and what others are doing. Always asking and listening to your customers and prospects is a new business habit that you need to get the practice of doing regularly consistently.
