….so you’re getting calls off your advertising to your 24 hr Free Recorded message Hotline….now what?

You are e-mailed from Arch Telecom the contact information of who just called and you merely pick up the phone and call that person…YIKES a cold call??? NOPE! This is not cold….the person read your ad, was interested in your service and called to hear more!

You say something like:”Hey this is Mike and you called my (whatever service you provide) Hotline, is there any question I can help you with? Simple and to the point…none of this “How-are-you-doing-today” scripting mess….just TALK to people!

When they say that they are fine and don’t need any more info…just say something like: “I’m curious, would it be OK to add you to my Video e-mail newsletter because it delivers to you really interesting content on (whatever your service is)….and I won’t SPAM you with thousands of e-mails, just what’s important to help you learn about…(what ever your service is)

Simple. To the point. They will say yes…at least most of the time!

Then looking at your e-mail you received with their contact info, confirm that the address is correct and ask if you can drop your card in the mail to them….again they say yes because this 30 second conversation is not pelting them with sales questions! (and if they ask how you got their info you simply explain that your toll-free service provides it from their call)

Call-Capture II

Last week I introduced you to an idea to create a massive amount of leads for your business in a “Stealth” strategy….so what about the people that don’t press 0 to connect to you from their call to the 800# or leave a message for more info??

Well think about it, they saw an ad, liked it, called the 800# because it was for a free report for information that interested them (this means you need to target the message to your market)….but for some reason they hung up…well, brace yourself…..how would you like it if you could get an e-mail 30 SECONDS after they hung up with their name, phone number they called from, and most of the time the address associated with that phone number??!!

Call-Capture Marketing

No matter what industry you are in you need leads and prospects to sell to correct? Research has shown that less than 25% of a salesperson’s day is actually spent selling and presenting….so what’s the deal??!!

Why not pick up the phone and make those cold-calls? It’s called call reluctance and there are books written all about this but for now let’s talk about a short-cut….wouldn’t you like to pick up the phone and call someone who already is interested in what you have to sell? That’s an easier call to make!

So here’s the strategy: (Let’s just pick an idustry at random and say that you are a Realtor and sell houses)

** In each advertisement  that you already spend money on put in the line: “Free Report: Discover the 10 things that other Realtors do not tell you when showing property….and the top 3 things you need to do before even THINKING of buying a house! Call 1-800-555-1212 ext 123 FREE 24 hr Recorded Message

*Notice that it’s a catchy headline with info the target audience needs

*Notice there’s no pressure….calling a 24 hr recorded message is definately not connecting with some pushy salesperson right??!!

So what happens is that everywhere this type of ad is posted, and the interest is raised by people needing this information they call the number to hear the recording and request the report. Remember, people who are NOT looking to buy a house would never call because they don’t care….so these callers have identified themselves as interested in your information!

Imagine advertising messages in many different types of medias attracting hundreds of calls, many of which leave a message for more info! This is an easy call to make!
