….so you’re getting calls off your advertising to your 24 hr Free Recorded message Hotline….now what?
You are e-mailed from Arch Telecom the contact information of who just called and you merely pick up the phone and call that person…YIKES a cold call??? NOPE! This is not cold….the person read your ad, was interested in your service and called to hear more!
You say something like:”Hey this is Mike and you called my (whatever service you provide) Hotline, is there any question I can help you with? Simple and to the point…none of this “How-are-you-doing-today” scripting mess….just TALK to people!
When they say that they are fine and don’t need any more info…just say something like: “I’m curious, would it be OK to add you to my Video e-mail newsletter because it delivers to you really interesting content on (whatever your service is)….and I won’t SPAM you with thousands of e-mails, just what’s important to help you learn about…(what ever your service is)
Simple. To the point. They will say yes…at least most of the time!
Then looking at your e-mail you received with their contact info, confirm that the address is correct and ask if you can drop your card in the mail to them….again they say yes because this 30 second conversation is not pelting them with sales questions! (and if they ask how you got their info you simply explain that your toll-free service provides it from their call)
